Rada Feldman

SUMMARY

Rada Feldman is a trial attorney in the firm’s San Diego office. Ms. Feldman’s practice focuses on business litigation, professional liability, public entity liability, employment law, and general liability. Ms. Feldman’s professional liability practice includes representation of lawyers, insurance, and real estate professionals.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Feldman practiced professional liability and business litigation representing attorneys, insurance brokers and agents, real estate brokers and agents, and other professionals against claims of professional malpractice and intentional and negligent torts in a broad range of legal areas.

Ms. Feldman received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/International Relations and History from the University of California, San Diego. While in law school, Ms. Feldman served as a certified legal intern at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. Additionally, she was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board and a National Team Member.

EXPERIENCE

Anti-SLAPP Dismissal of Malicious Prosecution Suit: Ms. Feldman represented a law firm and its partners against a malicious prosecution suit based on their prosecution of a false labeling class action. Ms. Feldman successfully obtained dismissal under the anti-SLAPP statute of the malicious prosecution suit.

Summary Judgment on Legal Malpractice Claim: Ms. Feldman represented a law firm against a legal malpractice claim for failure to designate an expert for trial in an underlying mold injury case. Ms. Feldman successfully obtained dismissal of the action on summary judgment.

Summary Judgment on Broker Malpractice Action: Ms. Feldman represented an insurance broker against a professional malpractice action seeking damages for the insurer’s denial of coverage for a personal injury suit. Ms. Feldman successfully obtained dismissal of the action on summary judgment.

Summary Judgment on Business Tort Action: Ms. Feldman represented a former CFO of a biotechnology company sued by the CEO against claims for defamation, extortion, intentional interference with contract and economic relations, and invasion of privacy. Ms. Feldman successfully obtained dismissal of the action on summary judgment.

Judgment on the Pleadings on Breach of Contract and Negligence Claims against Attorneys: Ms. Feldman represented a law firm and its partners against a former adversary’s claims arising out of a judgment collection. Ms. Feldman successfully moved the court for judgment on the pleadings on the breach of contract and negligence claims.
