Matthew D. Barzman is a litigation associate at the firm’s South Pasadena office. He has represented and advised public entities and corporate clients in cases involving contract disputes, unfair business practices, employment disputes, as well as a variety of tort claims in personal injury cases. Mr. Barzman also handles matters involving product defect claims and issues surrounding potential successor liability in asset and business acquisitions.
Mr. Barzman’s practice includes general business litigation, casualty litigation, and providing a defense to architects, engineers, and legal professionals against professional liability claims.
Mr. Barzman received his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara, with Honors. He received his law degree from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, with a concentration in Corporate Law. While at Loyola, Mr. Barzman participated in the Business Law Practicum, focusing on advanced topics in corporate and commercial law. He also participated in Loyola’s Scott Moot Court competition. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, active in both the Litigation Section and the Business and Corporations Law Section.
Mr. Barzman is devoted to pro bono work, and provides legal and mediation services to low-income residents in the greater Los Angeles area through a number of community-based free legal clinics.
