Colin K. McCarthy


Colin McCarthy focuses his practice on all areas of construction litigation, representing subcontractors, contractors, developers, architects and engineers in a wide array of construction matters. He has published a number of articles pertaining to the construction industry.

Colin is active in the Orange County community, serving as president of his neighborhood association and on the Board of Directors of Orange County Head Start, Inc. where he is a member of the Finance and Audit Committees. Colin was also appointed by the Costa Mesa City Council to serve on the City's Redevelopment and Residential Rehabilitation Committee, and on the Friends of Fairview Park Fundraising Committee. A graduate of The University of California, Santa Barbara, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with honors, and received the University Award of Distinction. Colin received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School where he was a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and was included on the Dean's List.

Colin is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association as well as OCBA's Construction Law Section. He admitted to practice in each of the United States District Courts in California as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
