William F. Bresee

William Bresee's legal practice focuses on commercial transactions for clients ranging from multinational corporations to entrepreneurial enterprises, on corporate organization and administration, as well as on legal services related to electrical power, petroleum, industrial and civil facilities for United States and foreign corporations, governmental entities, and joint ventures. His practice also includes international sourcing of material, contractor-subcontractor and owner-vendor issues, private placements, research and development projects, investments in high technology concerns, "partnering" and other joint venture vehicles, corporate planning and structure, construction, financing, equipment leasing, and numerous kinds of commercial agreements involving United States, European, Asian and Middle Eastern business concerns.

Bill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned the Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

A Captain in the United States Naval Reserve (Supply Corps, Ret.), Bill is very active with his family, which includes three children in high school. He also works in his local community as an Executive Committee member of the Foothill Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, and as a member of the Glendora Unified School District School Site Council. He coaches in youth sports and serves as a Boy Scout leader.

Bill is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association (where he served as Chair of the International Law Section Executive Committee), and the American Bar Association (where he chairs the Steering Committee of International Contracting Division for the Forum on the Construction Industry). He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
