Over the past several years, Kevin Erwin's practice has focused exclusively on representing employers and management in workplace harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and discrimination lawsuits, and during government investigations and hearings. Kevin also counsels clients in a variety of industries on labor and employment law matters including equal opportunity, workplace privacy, and employee leave issues, as well as wage and hour compliance, and hiring and termination practices. Because of his years of experience in the labor and employment law field, Kevin has obtained expertise in the many laws that regulate the workplace including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the California Labor Code.
Kevin graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Davis in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Three years later, he graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law. While at Pepperdine, Kevin was on the Dean's List and was a member of the school's law review.
Kevin is member of the California State Bar (Labor and Employment Law Section), the American Bar Association, and Orange County Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section.
